The Heartbleed OpenSSL bug made top headlines across all media channels yesterday stating that “… every major service is affected.” Leagueathletics.com uses Windows servers that are not (and never were) affected in anyway by this bug. Our Linux servers also use a version of CentOS that is not affected by the bug.
Bottom line … The Heartbleed bug is not a threat to LeagueAthletics.com sites, stored personal information and online payment methods and never has been
We understand all of you are anxious to learn what team your son or daughter has been placed on for the 2014-2015 season. Every child who is registered for next season will be placed.
We expect to release placements for Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam level players during the week of April 7, 2014. When we do, you will receive an email from

Due to the large number of inquiries we have received at the U8 Mite level from families expressing an interest in their child participating in our U8 Mite program for the 2014-2015 season since evaluations ended, we have chosen to delay placement for all U8 Mite players until September. All evaluation information provided by the coaches and High Skills Hockey will be used at that time. &nbs /span>
